It was quite a fun, laid-back trip. :D I don't have the pictures though. They're with my boyfriend, but I'll see if I can get some for here, hehe.
I guess it's the company that makes it fun, haha. I stayed in Ao Nang (a part of Krabi) which has this really nice stretch of road running beside the beach with one-storey-high buildings at both sides. I went snorkelling for the first time in my life (too bad the coral reefs are all white and dead, but the water is clear and blue!) and went into a naturally formed pool and a hot spring. Dinners were mostly from a few roadside stalls and consisted of Thai pancakes which I ate every day there, lol.
It was funny how there were so many more Caucasians there, not counting the shopkeepers. Probably 95% of the tourists there were Caucasians. I remembered looking into a restaurant which had more than 10 tables and every single customer was a Caucasian. Once, I was asked by one what the name of the fruits he was eating was. If you don't know what jackfruits, dragon fruits or honeydews/rockmelons are, be sure to check them out if you ever come to Southeast Asia, haha. XD (I can't tell the difference between honeydews and rockmelons once they're cubed, hence the slash lol.)
My boyfriend who got enlisted into the army (it's compulsory in Singapore) 2 months ago is bound for OCS (Officer Cadet School, I think. Can't remember the name. :P) this Monday, which means he only gets to book out on Saturday afternoons and have to book in by Sunday night for the next 9 months. And that is if he doesn't get guard duty over a weekend. O_O Sad times. I don't miss him as much as I worry for him though. It gets me in tears sometimes when I'm alone. :( I've heard too many stories. *sigh* I don't know. I think I'm kind of emo. I have this fear of him dying. I fear his death more than I fear us breaking up or something. Probably because the chance of us breaking up is even smaller, haha. Okay, maybe I shouldn't count my eggs before they hatch. :X
Anyway, school has started! D: Back to the mugging period. I was looking at an
old entry I posted when my previous term started and realised I didn't fulfil quite a lot of them. :P I will try them again, especially the painting part. That is something I really wanna do.
I did draw new shirt designs though. :) Here's my favourite of that batch:
Oh, and another nice website to recommend:
Triple Max Tons, which is filled with pretty things. I'm getting a lot of wedding ideas from the things she posted, haha.
P.S.: I painted my nails in bimbotic candy colours, lol! Bright pink, sky blue, apple green, solid yellow, xmas red! Don't judge; it's my first time doing a manicure. XD
