*hugs* Hi Ning! :D

Congratulations on finishing your paper!!
*high fives* I just wrote fifty thousand words of fiction last month! Doesn't it feel so good to accomplish a writing goal? ^_^

I love that you dressed up as a Sim. Did you have that plumbbob over your head as well?
We do not really celebrate it over here either, although dressing up is starting to seep in and I actually went to a sort-of Halloween party... Not dressed up -- I wish I had thought to go as a Sim, but then again I don't know whether I would have dared to boldly tell everybody xD

Also YAY for New Zealand!!! And congratulations on the internship, you are such a busy girl, where will you be interning?

Healthy baking sounds like the best of both worlds :) Love that picture, too, haha. When you think up the perfect healthy brownie recipe, will you please share? ;)

Eep, very late reply! :P Well, I forgot to mention that I would be overseas, heh.

Thanks Nimi! ^^ *BIG HUG!* Omgosh, fifty thousand words!! You're impressive! Haha, and yea, I know how it feels, fulfilling something you've aimed for. :D Awesomesauce!

Yes, I did! I used an old clothes hanger as the wire and made a loop around my head like an angel halo. (Here's a picture of me and my group mates; we had a presentation on 31st Oct, so our group decided to dress up together. :D) Oh, everyone knows I'm a simmer. They just don't know I write sim stories, heh ( ... )

HELLOOO! :D Hehe, um, thanks! -^^- Well, it was quite a cute party, with everyone walking around with a green diamond over their head. XD And yep, I turned legal this year!

Haha, my friends kept asking me to bring a sheep back. XD Thanks, I hope I don't get lost and do stupid things! :P

Oh, we went Krabi, Thailand. (The place we stayed in is called Ao Nang.) It is so beautiful and laid back! The road runs along the whole stretch of beach and they have mini stalls selling all sorts of food and trinkets everywhere! I would recommend going there if you would like to unwind. ;)

Haha, I gather you drink a lot then? :P (I heard the Chinese drinks a lot too, though. Their alcohol is extra strong, the kind that can knock people out with just a teaspoon's worth. Maybe they just don't have shot glasses, haha!)

We stayed for 3 nights! ^^ It was too beautiful a place to leave, but I guess all good things must come to an end. *sigh* :)

Hahaha, brilliant costume, Ning! I'm knee deep in finals papers right now, but congratulations on finishing yours. And Hooray for New Zealand! I'm going to Guatemala myself for a (scary) whole month. Scary less because I'm in a foreign country than because I'm responsible though, I'm one of the three highest placed students on the trip for spanish speaking, and terrified of getting us all lost or something.

My college is kinda awesome with haloween, not gonna lie. There was a guy in a gorilla suit last time, and I went as a roman. (Read: I decided at the last minute that I did have the guts and that was the only costume I could think of that wouldn't have put holes in my bedsheet...) The sims thing was genius though, and the plumbbob hat made me laugh ( ... )

Oh gosh, I hope you're done with them by now! GOOD LUCK!!! :D (Thanks, by the way! ^^) Hahaha, I'm sure you'll be more than capable of leading your group.

Omg, a gorilla! XD You guys totally rock! The only people who dresses up here are those who goes to clubs. And you can bet their skirts would be extra short. :S

Heh, I'm actually not that keen on working, but well, I have to start somewhere, I guess. :P

Omg the potassium! I did think of that actually! :D But I have baked banana breads many times before without the spices and with very minimal sugar (4 bananas to 10g of sugar) and I never had that problem before. :( Maybe I just have to let my bananas be super overripe? And, um, can I ask you more questions? (hehe) Is it salty because I happen to have chloride in the batter to form salt or do things taste salty from addition of group one elements? Does the anion matter?

Haha, I will share if I ever have it! :P

Only got the one short write up left - the next two days are reading days. (We have the classes, but it's mostly a last chance to present projects or pester the professors with questions.)

Yeah, by the time my banannas end up in bananna bread, they look like the most disgusting things on earth. I don't think the chloride is it so much as Potassium triggers the 'bitter' taste receptors in your mouth. (All alkali are bitter, I dunno why, and it wasn't exactly reccomended that I taste test them... :S )
So, now that I think of it, does cocoa powder... The unsweetened kind. What kind of chocolate you using in those brownies, Ning? That could be the answer.

That would be an amazing recipie, actually. My Dad's diabetic, so healthy brownies would be absolutely great. ;)

Hahaha, pester the professors! XD (I'm getting my results back this coming Tuesday, by the way. Can't wait!! :D)

LOL I know right? The previous time, one of my bananas had maggots already. (Our climate is hot and humid, so these things probably grow faster than the bananas can over-ripen. :P) Hmm... so saltiness is linked to bitterness? *rubs chin* I don't use chocolate, heh. *health halo* Only cocoa powder and sugar, which I am trying to replace, heh. I'm a litle crazy. XD

Um, don't count on it! (At least not in near future, haha!)

Cocoa powder. That's what it is. It's just not as sweet as the alternatives.

You win on disgusting banannas, though. Definite win. I'm more likely to get frozen banannas this time of year.

My mom claims that baker's chocolate is good for you (or as good for you as cocoa powder is,) but I don't know how much of that is wishful thinking. ;)

Hahahaha!! Hands-down! My bananas almost always had mould by the time I get to the last one of the bunch, but that time with maggots was really the worst time ever. XD

Eh, I was shopping for chocolate chips today (finished mine today :P) and saw this baking chocolate with 100% cocoa. O_O 100% cocoa, can you imagine how that would taste like? XD I suppose it's packed to the brim with the maximum amount of antioxidants and all that health stuff, lol. Maybe baker's chocolates are less processed or something. :)
