ohgod, seriously. I love the way his entire body is involved in his laugh. I always imagine he's going to topple over backwards or soemthing.

That post made my night. It may have motivated me to get back to work on my Steve heavy Big Bang too. Seriously the man is just too amazing for me to express in words. So I'm glad you did it in pictures.

True story, my parents' 76 year old office manager watched Moonlight and now Hawaii Five-0 just for him. She thinks he's hot too. We playfully fought over him before we agreed to share.

I WANT TO DRAW PINK SPARKLY HEARTS ALL OVER THIS POST. So, uh, just imagine I have. :D Oh, Alex. I wouldn't love him nearly as much if he was just this hot dude lounging about; it's the other things that make him such a sweetheart AND YET make me want to climb him like a tree. ♥

Consequently, this is also true about Steve. My H50 FlailFriend and I had this discussion about Steve Vs Danny, and I said that while I adore them both to death, I'm definitely Steve-biased. She said that yeah, he's Tall, Dark & Handsome personified. And yeah, he is, but like I told her, that's not why I love him. I love his goofy smiles, and his terrible taste in music, and how much he's a family man at heart, and the way he looks at Danny sometimes, out of the corners of his eyes, amused yet smitten, and how he learned to be good with kids through Gracie, and just enormous fucking heart, and how protective he is of his team and their families, and yet what a ginormous goofball he is at times, AND OH SO MANY OTHER THINGS. /ramble

I pretty much loved Steve from the start. My other two main fandoms are full of very subtle acting, and subtle facial expressions, so I was sort of primed to appreciate Steve the way Alex portrays him. It's strange, but I managed to get in his head from the very start; I feel like I understand him and his motivations even better than Danny's.

BUT YES, BASICALLY, AGAIN, EVERYTHING YOU SAID. I re-watched ep 2 last night, and I just wanted to rewind that scene over and over and over again! :D Bless Scotty Caan, the two of them just get on so, so well! I honestly don't think the show would have been nearly as good if it wasn't for those two. I JUST WANT TO STARE AT THE TWO OF THEM LAUGHING FOREVER. <333
