I was doing laundry in the basement... and I heard a giant ruckus on the stairs, and looked up to find my dog in a crumpled heap at the bottom

It's not just us getting old, it's our dogs too. Chance has been making weird noises when he breathes and he doesn't want to be walked.

That is so scary but limps are ok, they usually go away.

I know, I'm not really worried about the limp... I'm more concerned with what in the world she was trying to go downstairs for, and why she can't make it without falling anymore. I don't want her to hurt herself when I'm not around.
