I am drooling over your kitchen. Wish mine looked that nice and usable. But I do okay with my tiny galley kitchen crammed full of cooking gear. It is fun to have another excuse to start looking at the food blogs again. Not that I have much time for that at work any more. Things are generally quite busy. I had the thought that it could be cool to do some shared cooking projects and then post about them. Between you and I, Abra, and perhaps a few others, I think that we know a lot of cooks.
And I do love my kitchen. But I drool over my mom's kitchen; it is brand new, and so big. Soon after it was finished, John commented from the living room couch that we had six people all working in the kitchen and not getting in each other's way. Six people is how many I can comfortably have over FOR dinner in my condo!
I think that whatever cooking environment we have, we'll always want one that is a step up!
So are you going to be cross-posting, linking to each new post, or what's your plan? (Not wanting to see things 2x and all, it affects whether I want to follow the blog directly or if the x-posts will work better.)
I did like it! Between you and Duncan, I got a name that I like.
I do want to somehow update my LJ and FB when I post a new food blog entry - I'm just not entirely sure how to do that yet. I've noticed your posts to FB from your updates here. Is that an automated entry, or are you posting each time? I think that WordPress has a FB widget, so I need to explore that. In general, I need to explore the ins and outs of WordPress more . . .
LJ has a feature you can turn on, and it'll either ask you if you want to post over, or automatically post all things over. I've been using the "ask every time" and modifying the link text a little to reflect what the post is.
I've set up my blog to automatically send updates to my FB account. (I don't know if it'll show up as a status update or a link though, and I know some people only follow status updates . . .) I don't see anything that will send updates to here yet, but I'll keep poking around.
