I have always wanted to pamper myself with a nice watch and to ease my itch, I ate snake and went window shopping just now. Just lookin and browsin and checkin out the prices for some of my favorites. The prices for all of them have actually gone up since I last saw them. Damn it, this means I have to fork out more dough. Come to think of it, if I delay my purchase further, I will end up paying more. Might as well get it now hor! *grin sheepishly*
Well, went into one of the shops in Centerpoint, the saleslady was fakingly courteous, very obvious. I tried on a few models from each of my favourite brands. But seriously, the sales person really make or break a shopping experience. Firstly, she asked me about my budget and subsequently said it was too low for the models I was trying on. Hey it was not that much lower, OK? Secondly, she kept pushing repeatedly for the 0% monthly installment plan with certain credit cards. Hey are you telling me I cannot afford to pay off the entirety? Lastly, she introduced me to another watch and said this is below my budget, and after discount I can still earn (hai2 you3 de3 zuan4). Earn what? My own money? Obviously I walked out empty handed. Even if I really love the watch, I would patronise it else where, some other place with a better quality service.
By the way, my favourites are still the Tank, the Santos and Constellation My Choice. But I already have the Panthere which was a gift from mom, so getting another C actually is kind of redundant.
