Still a gadget shop or similar at Covent Garden, or is Urban Outfitters in Neale yard the closest you will get to 'that sort of thing'.

As far as I know, it's still there, but it was full of total rubbish last time I was in there (not even amusingly kitsch either).

Your best bet is to go to either Muji or the basement at Selfridges, which is full of way more cool gadgety stuff, and no more expensive than Gadget Shop.

Actually, come to think off it there's a branch of Muji *in* Selfridges basement.
