I don't understand.

It's So cold in our office that my hands are occasionally siezing up, the people either side of me are wearing coats, scarves and in one case, fingerless gloves.
But.
A thermometer on the desk tells us it's a plesant 19 degrees exactly where my hands are.

I Don't understand....

Help Me Science.

There must be a slight draught coming in from somehwere... but... surely that would be more noticable.
I wonder how Slight it has to be to still ahve an (a/e)ffect

Perhaps you are surrounded by ultra-conductive metallic vapour. The faster your heat is conducted away from your skin, the colder it feels...

nope, it's an accurate 21.5 degrees c in the computer room.
with 2 huge chillers running
i'm going into there to warm up i think.
