If it is just a pain in the chest, chances are it's a pulled pectoral muscle, or something postural or to do with muscle tension, either from partying, or from being sat in front of a computer too long.
Get it thoroughly checked out just in case, to be sure, but you wouldn't have been sent home if they seriously thought there might be something up.
All you can do is take it easy, eat healthily and not stop poking the drs until you are satisfied. Get second opinions the very moment you feel unsure with your current dr/specialists work.
