Last night I finished reading The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers. Pretty cool book. I like a good time travel story and this was a very enjoyable example of one. I thought it was a bit too predictable for a while - giving us the same old predestination paradox stuff I've seen before. Hell, you've reached the Tim Powers Lending Library. How may we help you? All three volumes of the California cycle are available, as are lesser-known works like the DRAWING OF THE DARK (a reincarnated King Arthur saves Europe with magic beer) and STRANGE ITINERARIES (short stories), and of course, DECLARE.

Membership of the library is free, but comes at the cost of me dancing around and going 'Powers! Powers!' a lot.
