...faith is all we need... patrickh27 September 12 2005, 01:26:32 UTC
altho ive heard this story time and time again, it never fails to renew my faith. it particularly brings back memories, since this wus on the back of a prayer card that i gave ____ a month or so ago for our 6 months...but yea anyways....throughout mah life it has been my faith in god that has pulled me thru, jus like i know it does for you....we jus need to realize it at times...but in our lives, there are many MANY more footsteps in the sand because of the support that we have from our family and from our friends...and that is something i have learned over time....so jus keep the faith bro, and know that you are never alone on this journey...

That's correct. There may be more footsepts in the sand and in those times of darkness, it's faith that we need to push through and triumph. That's pretty sweet of you giving that story to _______.....I understand how it must've been difficult for you at the time, but as you said, with faith you can pull through. It's definitely good to know that we have someone to lean on unconditionally!

My favourite reflection... I first came across this passage while I was in Québec in grade 8. I've heard it and read it many times since then, and even now, it still inspires me just like it did the first time I experienced it.

Wow, I'm surprised how you exactly remember the first time you encountered this passage. Good job and I'm glad to hear how this story continuous to truly inspire you. Just the thought of the Lord's greatful and abundant ocean of unconditional love is something inspiring in . It's very comforting to know that, with faith in the Lord, we will never be alone through muddy times.

I'm delighted to hear how that line makes you feel better. Sadly, life is not given to us easy on a silver platter; tough times will surface through that will test the measure of our character. What's good to know is that we are NOT alone through our dilemmas and personal issues. Faith in the Lord is the comforting bond we need to pull through when we're sinking. I like to think about the story of how Jesus calmed the storm or that woman who simply touched the clothe of Jesus to be healed from her disease. Such stories illustrate the power of faith....so, with Faith in the risen Lord, I'm sure that you will get through the down-lows of life.

that's one of my favourite passages too! it's really inspiring and suddenly, any feelings of loneliness or emptiness seem to fade away, with the thought that we're never alone in our journeys through life. it's okay hun, u know things always turn out fine in the end and if it hasn't yet, it will (= and you know i'm always here no matter what.

COPYRIGHT! hahaha.....that's one of my favourite passages too!

I'm delighted to hear how this story inspires you and how it removes the empty and lonely feelings away! Truly, with faith in the Lord, we will NEVER be alone in our life journey even when the journey takes us down into a very steep hill. In times of darkness, with faith, I'm always sure that I'll eventually see the light and thankfully, I'm very HAPPY and GRATEFUL that I have someone special in my life to walk with me through.
