How is summer almost over already? The beginning was insane-a close friend had major surgery and I got a job. But I've sort of been spinning my wheels for the past few months.
I saw a few movies. Need to see Inception again. Plus there's
this story. I don't often read non-TV fic, but it was so beyond beautiful. Pretty sure I got slobber all over my

Hey! Good to see you back in LJ-verse. God, summer has gone fast, hasn't it?
Where are you working nowadays?
I'm sad to hear that you may not finish Team Castle. It was definitely a good fic, but if the muse is not there…I understand what you're saying, though; Castle is definitely not what it used to be for me. Not that I'll stop watching, but I just…the show falls flat a lot sometimes and I no longer have enough New Fandom Squee Power to ignore that.
Hope you'll occasionally pop your head into the fandom, though; you were one of the best things there.
Ah, Rizzoli and Isles. What is that show (and am I spelling it correctly)? I've heard tons of people talking about it; never watched it myself, though. I need less TV.

Sounds like we're on the same page with Castle-it was pretty flat the last half of S2. I'll definitely be around the fandom to some degree because of Stana Katic's sheer awesomity. (Was half-ignoring the Castle rerun tonight, then looked up and BAM! Transfixed.)
Rizzoli and Isles (points for spelling!) is like Bones, except with sloppier plots and with Angie Harmon playing David Boreanaz' role. I like that the two lead roles are women and they talk about things other than guys most of the time. (Am pretty sure both characters are in the closet.) However, the dialogue is clunky, the murders dull, and the pace uneven, so if you're trying to cut back, you're not missing much. On the other hand, if you want a show to make fun of...

Totally feel you on avoiding R&I. I watch waaaay too much TV as it is.

I'm sad to hear you're less enthusiastic about Castle. I have to say I'm really excited about the new season. Although cautiously, if that makes any sense. Based on the things I'm hearing and seeing, I think it could either be brilliant and really step it or start meandering into an endless cycle of will they/ won't they. Still, I'm excited to see how it goes and I'm not quite ready to let it go yet.

I'm not giving up on Castle yet, just think it fumbled a bit near the end. I'm not discouraged by the fact that Castle and Beckett will be seeing other people-I think it's necessary at this point in the show's cycle. Am really hoping that the show will regain some of the energy it had in the first season.
