Would it be possible to get a scan or photo of the full color spreads from the books? Everyone sounded really impressed when they were brought up and I'm all curious about what they look like.

I forgot how good the Conan soundtrack was.

I think Tiger Mask predates Guin. Apparently the manga came out in '68. Also, personally, I think the Tekken characters, King, is most likely a TM references. They're both professional wrestlers wearing cat masks and all. That said, the TM mask in the manga/anime, Kings mask in Tekken, and Guin's mask do look a lot alike which is kind of odd.

Full color spreads... do you mean from the Japanese editions of the book(s)? I don't think the Vertical ones have color spreads - unless you mean the cover art?

I don't own any of those! Maybe if you did some google image searches? Although I'm not finding much...

This was fantastic. I can't imagine anyone listening to this podcast who would not want to read these books. What a great intelligent dialogue.

No, apparently (and in the interest of full disclosure), it was left by my mom.

Actually, I *don't* edit my own wikipedia page. I even tried once to correct a listing (I was and still am listed as having translated Star Ocean 2, when I was just an editor on that title) and the wikimasses retracted the edit because, apparently, some game site lists me as translator, and that trumped my own paltry evidence (my own online resume). Viva la wiki! (Actually, don't get me wrong, I love wikipedia, and was gratified to see that someone bothered to put up a blurb about me. Thanks, someone!)

Some wikipedia writer thinks highly of you, I guess!

Nice job on those last three Guin books especially!
