Hey Ninjas, hey Ninjas. I'd be interested in some other "podcasters talk together" shows. Perhaps Wildarmsheero from Mistakes of Youth? Paul Chapman from Greatest Movie Ever? Regan Strongblood from Anime-82? Anyone from Chibi Tokyo, Anime Genesis, or Anime Diet?
Or how about a podcast about smoked cheese? Nyo~ron~
I'm sorry I talk about the bathroom so much in my comic!! T_T I'm just always having a dry spell of ideas and if shenanigans ensue at work then it's automatically the top of the list. I'm always on the verge of quitting 'cause it's soooo hard to be vaguely original at this point.
I'd like to hear the Black Lagoon review because I want to hear more "regular" shows. Panels are okay, but I think listening to whatever you two have to say about the show topic is always more fun to listen to.
Hi, I'm a long time listener, but this is my first time commenting. I really enjoyed this 2008 wrap up show. I can definitely sympathize with Erin and the dilemma with watching fansubs: I too am a MAC user and .mkvs suck! And while I admit I have watched some shows on crunchyroll, I still hate the fact that they are now charging membership fees while still posting downright pirated shows (i.e. Bounen for Xamdou and Michiko to Hatchin.) Also, you two talked somewhat about the 4Kids article on ANN, and while I'm not too familiar with that situation, I gotta say being an animation artist in the current economical crisis is really tough. I'm unemployed now, and I wouldn't wish ill of anyone just trying to hold on to their jobs, or any company trying to keep their employees amidst this crisis. Either way, your podcast fits incredibly well with AWO, Fast Karate, GME, and even Geeknights. I too can't wait for the next podcaster roundtable or talk-together show.
