General Personality Questions
Strengths: Self-confident, carefree and handles stress well, good sense of humor, lucky, generous, logical, creative, unconventional, open-minded, fearless.

Weaknesses: Rude, insensitive, emotionally unavailable, prideful, stubborn, forgetful, selfish, little regard for social values such as tradition and popularity, lives in her own little world.

Mature or Immature?: I've always been mentally advanced compared to my peers, and I speak very intelligently, so in that sense I am mature. But I don't care for social graces, I don't sit straight and I'm sort of fidgety, and I'm all about myself most of the time. So in that sense, I'm immature.
Leader or Follower?: Uh, well. I'm the sort of person where I'm not the leader, but instead, I'm the person who challenges the leader and makes sure he's got his shit together. I'll only follow someone if it's beneficial to me or they're doing what I would have done anyway. I tend to lead people in situations where I'm forced to work with them and nobody else is stepping up to the plate.
(Of course, this is assuming that I'm with a bunch of strangers. Among friends, I'm definitely the leader. XD)
Optimistic or Pessimistic?: Optimistic! I have no use for doubt in my life.
Impulsive or Cautious?: Impulsive! I'm a bit of a gambler with my life. I follow hunches because they pay off enormously.
Outgoing or Shy?: 'Shy' isn't a good word for me, but I'm only outgoing half of the time. I'm reserved with my thoughts around strangers and gregarious with them around friends. I'll talk to you if you talk to me first, or if you seem interesting, then I'll go up and talk to you first. I don't like to make small talk with boring people.

Music Talk
Which genres of music do you tend to prefer?: I seem to listen to a lot of disco, and old-school from the 60's to the 80's. But really, I like all music except for country and hip-hop. Rap is fine, though! And of course, being an anime fan, I listen to a lot of J-Pop/rock and OST music.

What kind of vocals do you tend to like in your songs?: I seem to lean towards male vocals more than female vocals. But I really don't care much. They don't even have to be that good of a vocalist, if the song as a whole is awesome.

Do you like faster songs, or ones that are more ballad-like for the most part?:
I definitely prefer my songs to be fast and fun, but I like some slower songs. Uh, let's see...this song is about as slow as I can handle, and that's ONLY because I find it cute and emotional. Any slower than this, and it's a no-go. I don't like super slow, 'pretty' songs, like this.

Imagine having your very own soundtrack. What five songs that you're familiar with could you see being on the track list (please don't include any Naruto songs in this list!)? Feel free to add lyric snippets or reasoning behind WHY you'd list the following songs if you want to:

Well, the thing I can say about all of them is that they are some of my favorite songs. I'm linking them so that you can get an idea of what they're like, in case you haven't heard em'.

1. A-Ha: Take on me
Oh, the things that you say!
Is it a lie though, just to play my worries away?
You're all the things I've got to remember
This is my theme song in general. It's happy, it's sad, it's pretty, it's cute... and the video is so me. It's about a cartoon and real life crossing over, which is everything I stand for as an aspiring voice actor! The entire thing is me. I'm the boy from the comic who wants to take you out of your boring life and show you my awesome world. I'm the girl reading the comic and wishing it was real. I'm the waitress who is just trying to do her job and has to go WTF at a girl sitting in the trash. 8D; So much fun. Best thing ever.

2. Field of View: Kawaita Sakebi This is a good song for me too, in a quieter, more emotional moment. Its lyrics are sad, but it's still very pretty and optimistic. (I'm not posting a snippet because the entire song is good so you should just read all of em'. D:) Anyway, I think it's a lot like me. I've got a lot of darkness under the surface, but I know that as long as I believe in myself and my friends, it won't ever consume me. And once again, it mentions inviting others to see your world, which is something I relate to.

3. Hirai Ken: Strawberry Sex
Strawberry Sex!
It's a wonderful world!
Hahaha. 8D There are no translated lyrics for this on the internet as far as I can tell, but the jist of it is, it's a song to a long-distance lover (over the internet?) about how good their sex will be when they're finally together. It's awesome. XDDD

This song is my happy jam. It's the song that me and my friends sing in the car. If I ever get married, this will play at my bachelorette party. ...And possibly the wedding itself. XD (A close second for this slot was JUMP, by the Pointer Sisters, because it has the same effect on me and it was in my favorite movie, Love Actually.)

4. ORANGE RANGE: Kirikirimai The lyrics don't matter. This song will play during my shounen retard battles. Because I am a shounen retard, so they happen. A lot. :O

YES, IN REAL LIFE.

okay not really but still. There wouldn't be a Des movie with no awesome fight scenes. I wouldn't stand for it, and neither would Hollywood. >O

5. Megumi Hayashibara: Brave Heart I couldn't think of a fifth song, so I asked my friend Nemu what she thought it would be. This song reminds her of me whenever she hears it - most likely because of all the times it came on my playlist and I would yell "RUN WITH HEART!!" in the chatroom. 8D

I think it's a perfect choice. This is the pretty and inspiring battle theme from my favorite anime of all time, Shaman King. This song always pumps me up and makes me feel courageous.

List five of your favorite musical artists: Ah... 8D Currently, it's!
1. OK GO! (Don't show up so on time! Don't act like you're so kind!)
2. Queen (200 degrees, that's why they call me Mr. Farenheit! I'm travelling at the speed of light! I wanna make a supersonic man outta you!)
3. Boney M (OHH, THOSE RUSSIANS.)
4. Yellowcard (We'll be miles apart! I'll keep you deep inside, you're always in my heart)
5. It's a tossup between LAST ALLIANCE and PORNO GRAFFITI.

What's your favorite theme song from Naruto thus far (please note: the answer to this question isn’t an indication of what YOUR theme song from Naruto would be but has more to do with your musical preferences)?: Hmm... I love Wind, but who DOESN'T? Saying Wind has got to be cheating, so I have to say Haruka Kanata. HERO'S COME BACK! is up there too, though.
And your least favorite?: THE DISTANCE or whatever that really gay second Shippuden OP is called. 8D I am TERRIFIED of that song, to the point where it's like a trainwreck and I can't look away.

Does your music preferences change depending on your mood? And if so, how?: No, they don't really. I listen to the same music all the time for the most part. Although there are some days when I just DO NOT want to listen to a specific type of music. For example, I have a bad taste in my mouth for people who wallow in sad music when they're upset and pretend the lyrics are about whomever it is they're upset about. That disgusts me. :/
Do lyrics necessarily have to make a lot of sense, or is that not as important so long as a song has an amazing beat?: Amazing beat comes first. Some songs that I like have damn stupid lyrics, but they're fun as hell.
If you were in a band...what instrument or role would you like to play in it?: I can't play ANY instruments. 8D So I'd probably be the vocalist.

But assuming I could play, maybe keyboard or electric violin.

Anything else?: So hay 8D I was stamped like, YEARS ago and just rediscovered this comm. DOES IT STILL COUNT? Anyway, I'mma post this up - If there's any problems, I'll scamper off.
