Name: Rachel
Do you have a gender preference for this theme?: Not really. I'd prefer a hot guy, but I just want the best possible match. If you're equally torn between a guy and a girl, go for the guy. But if you think a girl is completely 100% perfect in every way, go for the chick.
What character were you stamped as in the regular application for
ninjafy and do you agree with that stamp?: Future!Gaara. I can see it. I relate to Sasuke, Neji, Gaara--you know, the collection of emo angsty guys. :P
Please post the links to three applications you've voted on recently:

http://community.livejournal.com/ninjafy/730370.html Likes: Angst, reading, writing, fanfiction, role-playing, yaoi, video games, anime, manga, Harry Potter, science-fiction, fantasy, slacking off, being emo, scars (I think they're hot).
Dislikes: People who talk loudly on cell phones while standing in line, bigots, really happy people, being constantly honest.
What do you feel is your best quality?: That's tough. I think my intelligence is probably my best quality because it allows me to figure things out quickly and gives me an almost-perfect first impression of people.
Your worst?: I've got a lot of bad qualities. :P I angst over the past too much. Seriously. It's very hard for me to concentrate on what's going on in my life right now because I'm always concerned with trying to deal with bad things that happened in the past.
You’d Prefer a Partner Who is More...
Mature or Immature?: Mature. I need someone who I can relate to, and that means maturity. If someone is too immature, it makes me want to beat them with a stick and tell them to grow up.
Leader or Follower?: Follower, to a point. I'm a leader. I tell people what to do and they do it. If they don't, or if they talk back, I get really pissed off. So, I need someone who does what I tell them to. However, they also need to be able to tell me when I'm going overboard, when I need to back off, or when I'm just totally wrong.
Optimistic or Pessimistic?: Hm, tough one. I'm very pessimistic about life, and in one sense, it's nice to be able to bitch about stuff. But I get the feeling that if I was involved in a relationship with someone who was also very pessimistic, we'd just end up bitching all the time. So, I'd say someone who is able to be pessimistic but generally is optimistic. Not "sunshine and pink bunnies" optimistic, but, you know, "things will work out" optimistic.
Impulsive or Cautious: Um. They would have to be at least somewhat impulsive. I have got to be the most cautious person on earth. The other person needs to be able to take the lead in most situations that are life-related. By that I mean, even though I'm a leader, there's loads of times when the situation doesn't call for someone to make a decision and order people about, and all of those times I angst over what to do or if I should do anything at all. So, someone who can make a decision and be a bit reckless occasionally would be good.
Outgoing or Shy: Either works. As long as the person is real with me, I don't really care what they're like with other people.
What are some traits that you'd love to see in a perspective partner?: A willingness to try new things, honesty, loyalty, empathy for others, sarcasm, creativity, being in the fandom, intelligence (someone I could talk to and who would have good ideas that I would consider).
What traits would you not like to see in them?: A willingness to cheat on me, overly lazy, extremely messy, inability to cook (b/c I can't cook and that would mean we'd both be staring at each other wondering when we could eat), not willing to either compromise or just do whatever I say, illiterate, idiocy, homophobia. Oh, and wanting children could be bad, since I hate them.
General Questions about Love, Romance, and All That Jazz:
How would an ideal date for you go?: Hm. I don't actually know. Let me think. At first, I'd want to go to an early lunch at a Chinese place. Then, we'd go to an amusement park and do the best roller coasters until dinner. Dinner at some buffet, so I can eat whatever I feel like, and then either a concert of a band I really like or a movie that I want to see. That's the "going out" option. The "staying in" option is more like: ordering in Chinese food, renting some movies, role-playing, and video games. Also, fandom arguing and commentating goes on in both scenarios. :P
What do you feel is the most important part of any relationship?: Honesty. I think if you're not honest with your partner, you're asking for trouble later. This includes loyalty; I see them both as very similar/related.
What is your viewpoint on love in general?: Hm. I'd have to say that I feel that two people should feel as though they share a strong connection before they attempt a romantic relationship. I'm a big supporter of the friends then lovers idea. I believe in true love and I think people should be completely open and honest in a relationship. I think love is also something you need to work at. It won't just happen--you need to go for it. But if both people aren't trying, it won't work.
What would you say your favorite love song is & why?: Oh man. Can I get two? B/c I have two new favorite love songs. I'm just going ahead and putting down two. "Glycerine" by Bush (This might be my all-time favorite, actually), but everyone knows this song, so I'll also put down "Out Here" by Peter Mulvey. Some randomly-chosen and possibly out-of-order lyrics:
Out here I make the only human lights,
I am the only human sound.
It's my privilege to lie awake at night
and think of what I have lost, and hope for what might be found.
Out here you'll find out who your friends are
when the darkness comes and kills the day.
There's an ache in every corner of the heart
for the ones who are miles away.
Out here there's always work to be done
and I do what I can.
Came down to a choice,
love or run...I ran.
Winter will come and get ahold of my heart and squeeze,
and I will long for your touch.
Wonder what kind of fool am I when I leave it,
if I loved it so much.
I would call you on the phone,
and I would struggle for the words to say,
"I swear that I am working on the things
that keep me miles away."
Out here it's so silent
you can hear your heart talking.
One day that heart might tell you which way to go,
you might start walking.
You know that I will (9x)
Okay, so I only cut out, like three verses, so what. Sue me. It's beautiful and needs to be read in order. Other favorite love songs, because I cannot help myself and I collect music as if it's oxygen and I'm asphyxiating: "Love Like Winter" by AFI, "No No Never" by Texas Lightning, "As Lovers Go" by Dashboard Confessional, "Everlong" by Foo Fighters, "The Reason" by Hoobastank, "You Found Me" by Kelly Clarkson, "Collide" by Howie Day, "You and Me" by Lifehouse, "Hanging by a Moment" by Lifehouse, "Ever the Same" by Rob Thomas", "Stay With You" by Goo Goo Dolls, "In My Mind" by SR-71, "Time & Confusion" by Anberlin, "Audrey, Start the Revolution" by Anberlin, "One Thing is For Sure" by The Spill Canvas, "So Contagious" by Acceptance, "I'd Rather Dance With You" by Kings of Convenience, "Save Yourself" by Stabbing Westward, "It's Beginning To Get To Me" by Snow Patrol.
Is there a character in Naruto that you feel you would NOT get along with in a relationship? If so, why? LOL. Probably a whole lot. I think, for sure, I would really hate someone like Orochimaru or Madara. The whole evil overlord thing would irritate me, and I'd demand they shut up and do what I say. So it wouldn't work out. :P NOT CHOUJI, SHINO, OROCHIMARU, OR MADARA PLEASE AND THANK YOU.
Anything else?: Since you asked... I love angsty emo guys! Yay! <3 Also, yay for copy and pasting answers from other apps! :P
