How do you propose you leave the protection of an entire country in the hands of a clearly metaphorical being? I mean, what happened to freedom of religion? What happened to public decency? There's no tradition in this homeland security stuff, some wacko rightwing nutjob decided he'd have it put in just because. Who green lights this shit? Fuckin' hell, most of our founding fathers were Athiests for crying out loud! One Nation under God is tradition. To credit God's hand in protecting our country, that's insane.
