and what a completely WEAK ending to WAR-O-da-WORLDS. the movie was really great until the 10 minute "holy crap i haven't thought of how i'm gonna dig myself outta this hole, better wrap this one up quick" ending. but honestly, what was the reason the aliens crapped out at the end?? disease? our air? something about the birds? it went by so fast and i was at the drive-in, so i didn't really catch it.
also...HOW THE CRAP DID HIS SON SURVIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?! that was just ridiculous.
lastly...remember at the begining when the aliens knocked out all the power of EVERYTHING and not even his watch worked? well, how the heck was that one dude on the street able to film those huge tentacle space ships with his video camera?? HUGE mistake no one cared to fix or edit out.

YES. HORRID ENDING. YES, the aliensdiedofdiseasesthattheydidn't have immunitiestobut manhadimmunities, so the aliens needed to take some knowledge from bubble boy is what is what. very weak.
Robbie surviving was ridiculous. His death was touching and then you find out later he is alive. It just ruins it. and there is no explanation. Its just like "I was blown all the way to boston from that one huge explosion I supposedly died in" WTF?! Though my friends and I came up with the theory that he's a zombie...but instead of feeding on brains he feeds on LOVE. so then he marries an alien chick and that's for the sequel.
OMGZ I AM SO GLAD I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT NOTICED THAT!!! RETARDED. nothing works..................except my awesome digital camcorder that can withstand EMPs! and anything else the universe has to dish out. Yeah..its a sony. LAME. but other than that it was pretty great. haaa.
