So, I noticed Itachi and Sasuke are gone.

Itachi and his younger brother have both fell back into the miasma of this place and been pulled back...home, I suppose? One can only theorize. I have no doubt those two will be back though. Their fight is far from finished, and what better playground than to finish it here?
...Konan has held her tongue about me, and Sasori is of no consequence. Deidara doesn't know...I think it more prudent to keep that from him, given his temper. Perhaps more of our broken organization will arrive. It could prove quite amusing to set something into motion once more.
The Kyuubi is still here, and a handful of his cohorts. But they seem to be losing ground just as quickly.
We'll see what happens.
