I resent the idea that, somehow, if all the world was nothing more then a gigantic chemical reaction, it would be profoundly less beautiful and mysterious. I do think the world is one gigantic chemical reaction, and once you come to grips with that, the world is a much more beautiful place. We certainly find a sunset beautiful, and we know that

I believe in the chemical reactions...or the Big Bang Theory. simple cells combining into different types and making new things. For the beautiful comments, chemical reactions can be a nice sight. Have you seen pictures in "outer space" of some chemical reactions? Or even the falling of the stars? Very nice to stare at indeed.
