"I'm trying to decide what to put in my survival kit -- I can either get a dozen gallons of water, food, and medical supplies, etc...or a Glock with about 500 rounds of ammo. Still a toss up."

Personally I'd go split the bill and go for enough Water/Food/Medical for the immediate, and a decent Rifle with ammo for longevity.

We shall band together to form an apocalypse team the likes of which the world has never seen!

I don't think Clothes are too immediate a concern really - for a survival kit. If you have time to grab the kit, you have time to grab some pants and a jacket. Water though, thats a rare commodity when the pumps stop flowing.

It's an Aesop Rock song. It alternates virtually every line with the repeating line: "Food, Clothes, Medicine."

(Food, Clothes, Medicine.)
