So many hugs and sympathies. He sounds like a delightful boy who was just chock-full of character. I'm sorry I never got a chance to meet him.

We lost Perdita like that -- the vet took a record amount of fluid out of her, and two days later, the vet took more than half the volume out of her again, and we knew it was time. Cats are such little stoics.
