What about really really dark purple that almost looks black (if you are hunting down a job).

Yeah I was thinking dark purple but I don't know how dark I could get with the brand I use. I'll probably just cave and dye it brown. It would only be reckless to dye it purple when I need work as bad as I do.

Purple! I live vicariously through your hair color.

Unless of course you're looking for a job. You might want to go brown as a lot of places still aren't color friendly, and the recession will just make your odds even worse. Go crazy with clip-in hair extensions instead!

However, I agree with Laren - since the recession is still going strong, I'm all for increasing chances of employment however necessary.
