Laptop help

Can anyone give me advice on a good laptop to buy?

It's mainly for work but I'll need to be able to install software that I use in school like photoshop, interactive whiteboard programs, Word, Excel, Powerpoint (maybe wireless access to internet & email?).

Sorry know nothing about laptops, except I like mine cost it was free!

Thought I'd tell you while I remember...some Chavs have graffitied our garge door, but it's only two little name tags...nothing remotely arty!

On the same night a van parked on the corner has it's windows broken, maybe same people
