Okay, there was something that bothered me somewhere in the middle of the episode, but it couldn't have been too awful bad, because the end made me forget ALLLL about it.
(Oh, aside from wondering about the overall arc of Seasons 4 & 5 that Bobby's revelation of Revelations prompted. I mean, if Season 4 is dealing with the Apocalypse, what the heck is Season 5 gonna do?)
But the end...okay, I understand how the scene was framed cinematically, the idea of Sam sleeping through Castiel's visit but wanting Sam's sleeping form present for Dean to fret over, etc., and that's absolutely fine and wonderful...
..BUT WHY THE $#%^#$%^#$!!! WERE THEY SLEEPING IN BOBBY'S LIVING ROOM?!?
I mean, hello, they stayed with Bobby for some while after 2.01, the whole amount of time it took Dean to rebuild the Impala, and that was no weekend job, y'know? It's a decent-sized, two-story house...are we to believe Bobby doesn't have a guest bedroom? Hey, one largish room with two beds would be just like home-sweet-motel room for the boys, we could've had Castiel leaning against the hallway wall outside the room, staring in through the cracked-open door until Dean noticed him and came over to have the conversation, Sam's placement would've been nigh-identical. And then making the whole visitation a dream, that's just mean. Dean wants concrete proof, you could at least remove the plausible doubt of "Maybe I did dream the whole thing," for Pete's sake.
This show needs a continuity editor. Seriously, pick a fan, ANY FAN, they'd be happy to oblige, y'know? (Hell, I've got an eidetic memory and an OCD obsession with details, sign me up!!)
