But I've definitely bitten off a lot this time. (Not that that's anything new.)
See, the thing is, I have a GameDay event to run Saturday, meaning I get home from work Friday night and print everything, leave early Saturday morning. That means I have to finish everything, or 97+% of everything at least, Thursday night.
Yeah.
Tonight.
And to top it off, I forgot my folks were coming to visit, so dinner and visiting with them is going to eat some time, not to mention I'm going to watch Supernatural. (I suppose the smart thing to do would be to FINISH tonight and watch SPN Friday night instead of doing last-minute writing, but......)
SO ANYWAY, what I could use from y'all is some brainstorming suggestions.
Okay, the setting is this: You're trapped in an elevator with a new co-worker, absolutely bored out of your skull. You're not making out or flirting with said co-worker, because you've been flirting with their partner and in fact got off on the wrong foot with this person. But now you're stuck in here with nothing else to do for God only knows how long, that rat-bastard Luke must have deliberately trapped you in here 'cause he has a mad-on for new co-worker, guy has issues...
..so, whilst trapped in the elevator with Arlo, who's cute but you are NOT attracted to nonetheless...what do you do? Well, actually, you would ramble, because Arlo's not really engaging in conversation with you, so:
What would you talk-slash-ramble about, trapped in an elevator for what feels like forever?
The idea is that Arlo is stuck with a non-player character, the co-worker, but that's no fun for all the players who are NOT playing Arlo, so I came up with a brilliant idea. ALL of the other players will play the co-worker! What I want to do is pass out cards with bullet points to the other three or four players, and if they can all stay "in character" and ramble on endlessly about the things on their card, if each player in turn can pick up relatively seamlessly from the previous player's ramble, like the co-worker has just been going on and On and ON, then the whole table will earn extra Points for dealing with the Big Bad later.
Yes, I know I'm absolutely insane. That's beside the point.
So, random babble ideas? Luke's a jerk, Arlo's partner Joe is hot (not that Arlo probably wants to hear about it, but too bad, if he's not talking back with you, right?) what else? (They're working for a Greenpeace-type save-the-world company, re-planting forests, protecting endangered species, that kind of thing, except Arlo's just a mechanic, so they got off on the wrong foot when he disparaged vegan food, etc.)
Any random thoughts would be appreciated, copying them down is LOTS easier than trying to come with a whole bunch on my own.
