Updated with this GIF.  That is neither Heyx3 or FD.  But love Nino here, cracks me up, lol.  I'll make a better GIF when I get a chance, but this will have to do for now. :P  Updated w/a much better GIF, courtesy of aya_mcdonald.^^  Thanks Aya! <3

i totally get what you said about not wanting to watch it at first... i sat there for the longest time staring at it on my desktop debating if i wanted to too... ^^;and... it wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be!!!! ^^

i was actually really surprised by how WELL he did despite the fact that he had a pulled muscle... Being a dancer, I've had my share of pulled muscles and whatnot, and I know it hurts like HELL (especially your thigh muscle since almost every action your leg does is initiated by your thigh *shudders ><)... but even still, when you're performing, you just need to suck it up and pretend like nothing's wrong. ><

The whole performance, you can tell that Nino was giving his all, and didn't let his pain affect his face, and while his dancing wasn't as sharp as it usually is, it was nevertheless good. *is proud

So I personally really enjoyed this performance. It shows the extent of Arashi's hard work and dedication, and I don't think I could be prouder of Nino for what he did. ^^

Yes, I was so proud too! I'm really glad I finally decided to watch it. And the other thing I was going to mention, and forgot to, is that I wonder if his skintight pants for the two performances are for compression purposes for his injured thigh. Because otherwise.. they are just too tight and not really flattering. o_O

I'm glad he seems to be recovering nicely though, from Heyx3 to MS. :)

You finally watched it!

He seemed to be doing okay until they had to hit the floor... then he just sort of shuffles through the rest of it.

I mean, it didn't look he needed to be hospitalized but he definitely has having trouble keeping up.

Wasn't it heart warming watching the rest of them pull together like that, though? Sho turns on the charm like a billion percent after he senses that IDOL SHO is needed.

The performance was Heyx3 wasn't as disturbing to me as it was slightly sluggish, compared to the Music Station performance. The MS version just blew the song away, whereas I guess the energy level in this performance is slightly lower (perhaps it's due to a mixture of Nino's injury plus it's their first time performing the song.) Nonetheless, it's still fun to watch, but a bit of an anti-climax considering it aired after MS.

And you just *know* that Nino's back in the MS performance. Absolutely spot-on in his moves and he has a sort of finesse which I don't normally see in his dancing. Awesome stuff.

Yes! Sluggish is a good way to put it. Though the superficial side of me liked how they looked in the Heyx3 (outfits, hair) better than in the MS. Most likely they were able to keep outfits and hair closer to the PV style as they didn't have to tone down for a Love So Sweet performance. :)

True. I like it that even though the outfits were entirely black, it still varied significantly from member to member. The styling for the Face Down CD Jacket Cover is another matter though. It looked like the stylist just piled onto the boys whatever he could find in his wardrobe.

When I first saw those CD jacket covers, major headdesk moment. (Especially because I preordered both RE and LE.)

But the inside is what counts.. so..

I still think those outfits are hideous though...:x

Miss you too… Still a little sick and overloaded with work, but our boys always make us smile right? ^.~ And you? I hope you are fine! ^.^
I thought you knew! Yamakaze-san posted on her Arashigoto but I don’t remember when… Anyway, yes, after Face Down, they came back to stage and performed Wild At Heart just for the fans that were there, how sweet they can be to their fans, right?! And Nino is an amazing professional, all we can do is love him! ^.^

I've been a big bogged down this week too, so I haven't been able to keep up with all the news as much as I'd like to. That is so sweet, Face Down AND Wild at Heart? Ahhh, I wish I could have been one of the lucky fans there!^^ <3

I hope I wasn't one of the ones who you thought was bashing other fans for enjoying it? ¬.¬;; because that wasn't at all what I meant by what I said... (Though I don't remember exactly what I said...)

I'm glad you finally got around to watching it, and maybe this will actually bolster me into watching it in better quality. (The only thing I've watched was the original airing on KH). But I think part of my pain with it is recalling my performaces on injuries, and how excruciating it was, despite the fact that I was all smiles and giving my all in dances during it. (As I mentioned, I couldn't walk for at least a day with Annie, but I think I gave my best performance of the entire run... lol) And yeah, I probably shouldn't project my memories onto the performance. (And there's still always the possibility that my dislike of the song finds reason not to watch... xD)

Oh no no. I don't think you bashed? At least I wasn't aware of it if you did. I read some really scathing words by hardcore Nino-fans to Arashi-fans.

I may be more okay with the performance than I should be, because Nino is dragging his leg around exactly like how I did, and my injury was so recent that the visual of how he was moving around makes me recall how I felt when I was dragging my own leg around.. and I didn't feel as horrible as I looked.

And so inevitably Nino's movement projects to me (even though the injury is completely different) that he is actually okay in the performance...

I think I made some comment in my LJ to the extent that I couldn't understand how people could enjoy it... or something like that... But I was more talking about the fact that they didn't even seem to know he was injured...

Yeah, I think both of us are projecting our experienced injuries onto the performance, but it gives us different views, since I think we have opposites in these cases, lol. because mine was infinitely worse than it looked. (When I came out limping after the show, to greet the audience, so many people asked if I hurt myself after, because it definitely didn't look like I was injured during the show...)

Ah, I need to go watch it in earnest, and try to keep an open mind about it this time.

Still don't understand how some people didn't catch it. o.O

His recovery seemed to be quite fast (the MS perf you could hardly tell!); I'm hoping this means my injury projection might have been more accurate?^^

Who knows for sure, but as long as he's doing better now. :)
