[Fic] By My Side
Kazuya kept quiet as Jin ordered the food over at the cashier. Another reason to make his heart go beating for him. He looked at the clock as it was ticking, waiting as the time goes by. He sighed and looked around, there weren’t any people around the store; it was him (and Jin) and some other teenagers at the back of the restaurant. Jin went back to the table with the orders. Placing them on the table carefully before sitting. Kazuya smiled to him and he smiled back.
Oh how I wish you knew that I wanna love you all my life. Kazuya said in his mind while grabbing the chopsticks beside his plate. He separated the two wooden sticks and grabbed one shrimp and placing it in his mouth. Jin watched him and chuckled doing the same thing as well. Kazuya smiled as he chewed the food, it was tasty and for sure its not a waste of money.
“Tasty isn’t it? I love going here. Don’t you?” Jin asked then took a sip at his cold drink. Kazuya nodded letting Jin pat his head like a little kid. They continued eating in a quiet manner like what they usually do. After the meal, they stayed in their seat for a while.
“Ne, Kazuya.”
“Hm?”
“What am I to you?” Jin looked at Kazuya in a sincere way, like capturing him…letting Kazuya fall for him even more. Kazuya gulped and looked around once again.
“Anou…. You-you’re my brother…” Kazuya said and Jin nodded.
“What else?”
“What are you trying to do?” Kazuya said, a little bit firm.
“Nothing, I just want to know the truth.” Kazuya rolled his eyes and sighed.
“Fine. But I’ll tell you while we walk home.” Kazuya stood up from his chair, got his bag and walked ahead of Jin. Jin followed a few seconds after he stood up and quietly followed the latter.
The walk was unusually quiet but Kazuya didn’t bother. He knows Jin would always patiently wait for him to talk first. Whenever you’re ready, that’s the policy.
Kazuya felt the fear inside him, all the troubled thoughts and the stubbornness. Recalling those again, Kazuya wanted to stop. Sit for a moment and let the tears flow. But no, he has to be strong and deliver the message to Jin.
He felt the other’s hand on his shoulder, he looked to his side and he saw Jin’s heartwarming smile. He opened his arms for a hug and Kazuya indeed needed one and hugged him right away, burying his head on Jin’s chest. Jin patted Kazuya’s head lightly, putting his chin over his head.
“I know what you feel, Kazuya.” Jin said. Kazuya’s tears suddenly flowed without him knowing. He sniffed and tried not to cry, but it was too late.
“Don’t worry, I’ll never let you go. You’re all I need, you’re everything, Kazuya.” Jin said in his soft voice which Kazuya loved the most. Kazuya looked up with the tears on his eyes but a smile on his lips.
“You sure with that? I thought you were courting someone?”
“That was just Nakamaru’s imagination silly.” He chuckled while wiping the tears from Kazuya’s face. The latter hugged Jin again, a little bit tighter than their usual hug, but it was fine.
“Call me crazy, but its true; I love you.” Jin said sealing those words with a kiss.
