I got to see a preview of Avatar today at 7:30. It was pretty much awesome - the 3D ended up being subtle enough you almost forgot it was there and just made the film better. The plot was basically Fern Gully but dialed up to Epic! It was very very pretty.

The Mountain Goats show was amazing. He sang Against Pollution and No Children(!!), did some lovely violin enhanced songs with the guy from Final Fantasy (how did I not know there was a band with that name), and incited a mosh pit to The Best Ever Death Metal Band in Denton ( Read more... )

So the show really is better than the movie and Anthony Rapp is adorable and Adam Pascal was way hot with a nicer hair cut and the costumes were amazing and I cried at the end.
