Hey folks, I was wondering if anybody here had any nice photographs of the new red 25th Anniversary Mario DSi XL. I honestly can't seem to find any that aren't stock photos on Tumblr/Google, at least with the search terms I use

Unless if I'm missing something, all I see on that site are stock photos, which is not what I'm really after. Thanks, though.

I couldn't tell you how many were produced, but I have some cell phone shots of it for you...the Starman, Fire Flower and Mushroom print is a lot darker than the stock images show them to be (which is pleasant!) I don't think my camera does it much justice either, though.

Thank you so much for taking these! That thing really is beautiful, oh wow. Definitely a collector's item worth getting. So did you have a regular DSi or DS Lite beforehand? Does the XL screen make an obvious difference or is it one of those things that you just kind of zone out after a while? I'll be moving up from the regular blue DSi, myself.

At first, I didn't even want to consider getting the XL because I thought "ughhh the games'll look all stretchy" and whatnot but NOPE. They look perfectly fine and HUGE. As my little brother likes to put it, it's nice in "HD." It's just...massive. I had a regular DS Lite before that! It is a pretty obvious difference. I feel like I'm peering into a book if...that makes sense. Hm.

EITHER WAY t is beautiful and I highly enjoy it. WORTH THE DOLLARS

I've seen some demo displays at stores and I got that "Stretchy" first impression first, but have never really had any hands-on time with them. That's great about the screen resolution not being weird.

I just confirmed that I'll be getting one mailed to me tomorrow so I'll try to get some photos posted when it arrives. I can't wait!
