On Valentine's Day, we'll see the completion of the Zenithia trilogy with the release of Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation. (Realms of Reverie in Europe.)

On March 6th, we'll have even more new Pokemon in the Black and White Versions.

Yeah, I plan on getting one (Aqua Blue, though the top screen should not be black). It's time for it to be released, IMO. The DS has had a longer life-cycle than the GBA.

I'm interested in RE: Mercenaries, RE: Revelations, Star Fox 64 3D, Ocarina of Time 3D. Also would like to see what Game Boy & Game Boy Color games will appear on the eShop.

I'd really like one but will probably wait a while to get it. I still have games I'm playing on the DS and will be playing the new Pokemon for a while, I also can't afford to spend $250 on it.

That's too much money for a handheld (for me, anyway), and the '3D EVERYTHING' concept is a total fad. I'm happy with my DSi. :)

I will definitely be buying a 3DS, because the Ocarina of Time remake is something I very much need. I keep trying to talk myself out of it, because really, how many versions of this game do I need, but, seriously. Portable Ocarina of Time, and it's like Christmas Eve all over again. xD

I won't be buying right away because $250 is quite a lot, and that's not even including any games. I don't know what color I'll get; I'm not keen on either but since I have a teal DS I guess I'm leaning toward black until more colors come out. (Like apple green? *crosses fingers*)

That's a good question about the regular DS though... I would think there would be some games that would be non-3D so it would be playable on both, but maybe it is only a matter of time before it's phased out like the GBA was. But it also depends on how well the 3DS does. If the visuals create a lot of issues or bad health PR, they might make two versions of the games for both systems. (probably not, but you never know.)
