To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed with the new Legend of Zelda game. And I already read about deBlob: Underground (which I'm really happy to get).
Me and my friend weren't all that impressed either especially with the fuckups. However I did like the 3DS, Donkey Kong, and especially Pikman announcement, though that wasn't during E3 itself. Also Kirby games have always been fun to me so I'll probably enjoy it too but I agree it looks different.
I'm thinking Zelda games have always been something you have to play to really enjoy. I'm trying not to let the bad showing at the presser mar my judgment.
Even portions of the new deBlob game are 2D too. I think that the vintage is nice, but that's not why I have a Wii. Bring 2D back to movies, but give me some texture in my video games.
I'm pretty much in love with the fact that Nintendo is going back to their older franchises. I'm over the moon for Donkey Kong and GoldenEye.
I was never that much into Kirby, but I am intrigued by the left to right screen movement and the fact that Kirby is adorkable.
I'm all for Skyward Sword because a)it looks like it's trying to tie in the wind waker/spirit tracks artwork and b)there doesn't seem to be any fishing involved. Thank god.
i am REALLY happy now that developers aren't afraid to go back to a 2D viewpoint for their consoles (some of the metroid, the Kirby game, the Donkey Kong game, New SMB, etc). also, Little Big Planet, even though it was for PS3, really showed that it is just fine to have a 2D platforming game and charge 60 bucks for it.
I'm really looking forward to Kirby's Epic Yarn. I loved Canvas Curse because it was so different. I think that the Kirby series is really well-suited for off-the-wall stuff like that.
Plus, I'm a knitter, so yay yarn! Goofy, but there you go.
I'm also looking forward to the Zelda game, just because Link is going to be my husband someday I really like Zelda games. I'm assuming they get whatever issues worked out that they had during the demonstration, of course.

I think I would really like that game - he's one of my favorites in Super Smash Brothers.
