question about using a foreign system

Hi. I'm not a Wii owner yet, though I may be one soon, so please excuse me if there's something obvious that I'm ignorant about.

I currently live in Japan, but I may be returning to the U.S. in a few months. If I do, I'm thinking about bringing back a Japanese system with me so I can play Karaoke Joysound Wii. From what I understand, to access the ( Read more... )

Yeah, I'm an using an American Wii here in Japan and I have no problem with internet stuff. :)

I have a US Wii in Korea and activate the US Wii shop and other US channels normally, so I think it would fine. It probably tells your region based on your system rather than the internet you're using.
