Bought a couple of cheap chindi rugs for the apartment. Feels kind of nice. Interestingly, according to wikipedia, "chindi" is a Navajo word meaning a ghost that departs the body, identified with everything about the person that was bad and not in harmony with the universe. So I guess walking all over a chindi could be symbolic of quelching the badness? As one of my grandmas used to say, "If you don't like it, STEP on it!"

While I hope you figure things out for yourself, I also hope you don't move too far away! Sad pandaness would ensue.
