and i restarted
my computer

and it still doesn't
work

and i reinstalled it

and it still
doesn't work

it just ignores
the fact that i
click on it.

i don't get it.

so... if you have any
idea how to fix it...

Just note that you may want to save your profile prior to using it, as the program does eliminate them, beside that minor problem, it's pretty reliable.

I'm honestly thinking that it's something much simpler though, you might want to try just resetting the target location on the shortcut. Then again, that also depends on what you mean by, "it ignores the fact that i click on it." Do you mean that it doesn't load, or do you mean that it doesn't even get highlighted when you try to click on it? Those are two very different things.

but i believe i told you on the phone that i tried going to the actual program file and running it but couldn't

i tried adding the task to windows task manager, doesn't work

If all else fails just download GAIM or some other alternative. They're not as nice as AIM, but I'm sure they'd work fine until your AIM is fixed.

GAIM and Trillian are both similiar, and both allow you to speak with regular AIM users, so nab one if you'd like.
