I am vastly relieved. That was much better than it could have been and quite a lot better than I was expecting, honestly.

Sad that it's over but all in all, a reasonable ending. :)

Also *loved* the touching nod to General Hammond.

deux ex machina, anyone?

Oh wait, another deux ex machina.

And is that San Francisco? Didn't Sheppard start out there? I'm trying desperately not to make any Wizard of Oz jokes but it is difficult.

Yeah, I felt the same way.

Loved the nod to Hammond (and Don Davis), though.

Did any one else have an issue with Carson's ease with the chair? Y/N?

Love the nod to Don S. Davis as well, very sweet and nicely done.

Definitely not my favourite finale, but not the worst either.

Yeah, I was kind of wondering why they had *John* transferred back to earth instead of letting Jack handle that side of things (or send Carson instead).

Maybe Carson's been practicing? Or maybe the Gravity Of The Situation gave him the kick in the pants he needed? lol.

*sighs*

This certainly isn't the worst series finale I've ever seen, by far. But it did feel a little hurried and...sudden. Like they crammed the story of three Episodes into one.

I will miss Rodney. ;_;
And the rest, too, of course.
