It's not even you doin' the fighting, it's mostly him! He's lucky he walked away when he did. I think he and I need a few words. Mind you, I did say words, not fists. I'm sure he'd be a perfectly pleasant man if he wasn't so irritating.

Well, that's what you get for changing every atom in your body, including in the brain. You get differing opinions. You're a decent bloke, though, out of the lot of us. Not that there are a lot of us. A lot of different us's. Not other selves and all. You know what I mean. Surprised the universe hasn't done a double-take and started coming to pieces under us.

Oh, please, don't give it ideas. Like as not we'd all be huddled round tying it back together with spare string.

Or, rather, arguing how to tie it. New perspectives can be enlightening, but when they clash, well.
