That's so cool that you're going to be involved in mentoring. When I was a kid, there was a girls-only science event in Los Alamos that our science teacher (also a woman) took me and my friend Kai to. It was very cool.
Thanks...I contemplated being a science teacher for awhile because my grandma was one and was so good at making things fun. Good to know other teachers are making special efforts.
Kudos on making the effort to create positive change. There seem to be four vague categories of people in the "make a difference" vein: those who never talk about doing things and fulfill that path, those who talk about doing things and never do them, those who talk about doing things but actually do them, and those who do things without constantly talking about doing things. You seem to be of the latter category. I guess I don't really know you from one festive encounter (Keary's b-day party) and various online watching and banter, but you impress me as a truly fine individual. The mentoring is a great example of how people can do that. You have a kind soul, I think. Boy, I really ramble when I'm baked.. ;>

I am glad you are doing more costuming! Who knows, you may be the developer of a computer clothing design program or some shit. Rock.
Wow, you should send me some information on the Engineering mentoring. I'd love to do that. It's important.
I miss you, like, uber-much.
