wow, it looks amazing, i am still trying to imagine drivers that are so well tamed they do not use bicyclists for target practice!

I know! I felt the same way when I got here, but bicycling is seriously a normal way of life...people can go a week without even needing to use the car. Every kid gets one early and they even have bicycling rules exams in elementary school. You should see bicycle parking, it's insane!
