Axel.
Axel may be a bit of a hothead at times in Demyx's point of view, but he's glad he can consider Axel a friend. He knows Axel has his back in both a fight and in everyday life. It had taken him awhile, but he feels like he can trust him with just about anything--his past included. When he had succumed to a curse, Axel had been one of the people to bring him to the lake. When his friends disapepared, he cheered him up. When Demyx had his face ripped open by an invasion of fish monsters in Vatheon? Guess who was there. Even when Axel started to mope, Demyx did what he could to cheer him up. Of course, now he has trouble looking the man in the eye because of a small case of mistaken identity resulting in a kiss meant for someone else.

Lea
Lea. Lea, Lea, Lea. Where does Demyx even start with this kid? When they first met months ago, Demyx would have laughed if someone had told him months down the line he'd end up in a relationship with him. Now that it's actually happened? He wouldn't trade it for the world. There've been quite a few rough patches on this road--especially one involving a nasty case of heartbreak thanks to one of Vatheon's many curses when Demyx had obtained his actual heart back for a second (or was it third?) time, but over time this was mended. It wasn't until recently that Demyx had managed to confess how he really felt about him.

Even without his own heart, Lea fills that void like the missing piece to a puzzle.

Xion
To this day, Xion is a mystery to Demyx. Apparently she was in Organization XIII, but he has no recollection of ever seeing her there. In fact, the only reason why he believes it for himself is because of both the word of Axel and Roxas, and the fact that she seems to know him and the rest of the Organization. Granted he was a little skeptical at first because of the whole fiasco with Riku wearing their coat, over time in Vatheon, Demyx has started to trust her. While their friendship isn't as strong, he likes hanging out with Xion. She's nice, fun, gentle... Even a little cute! If it wasn't for her Curaga spells, he probably would have died during one of the last curses.

He owes her big time.

Gamzee
There's definitely some mixed feelings towards this particular troll ever since March. The long story short is Gamzee? He went sober. Ever since that day, Demyx has been a little wary in trusting the younger boy as much as he had before, though he's desperately trying to let him back into his life. It wasn't Gamzee. It wasn't the Gamzee he knew. The Gamzee he knows wouldn't have broken his wrist and put a blade to his throat.

...Right?

Karkat
Karkat, you jerk! But no, really. Demyx actually likes this guy a lot. Sure, he's pretty crabby sometimes (a lot), but he's actually not that bad once someone gets past that hard crusty exterior! This much Demyx knows for sure; Hell, he even knows about Karkat's blood color and what it means in a troll's society. He can be pretty sympathetic, what with being a Nobody and all. Karkat isn't supposed to be alive, Demyx isn't supposed to exist... It's one strange friendship, alright.

Kanaya.
Demyx doesn't really know much about Kanaya yet, though he'd like to get to know her better in the future. The first time they met was in a tournament of sorts--Of course, he'd gotten his butt--er, tail fin--handed to him in the ensuing fight, but he actually enjoyed himself for once. She's definitely interesting as both a troll and a person.

Terezi
Another interesting troll! Terezi really intrigues Demyx's inner curiosity for a few reasons, but the top one being 'How can she taste colors?' But funky Trollbilities aside, Terezi's just the kind of person to stir at Demyx's prankster side. Once he gets to know her better, she seems like someone he'd be able to have buckets--whoops, barrels of fun with. Hey, Terezi! Ever get the idea to do something stupid... But awesome?

Eridan
Bluh bluh, this guy. This guy. Demyx doesn't know if he should be frustrated or amused by him when he talks to him. On one hand, he's pretty fun to poke at and generally talk to, but then sometimes he swears he gets even crankier than Karkat. Just what's this guy's deal, anyways? What's wrong with people who live on land? Then again, Demyx himself does miss the ocean an awful lot...

But land people are still totally awesome.

Xigbar (No longer in Vat)
There isn't a day that goes by where Demyx doesn't think about Xigbar in some shape or form. Whether it be in just a passing thought or even cleaning the apartment, he misses him. Though he wouldn't outright admit it to someone, Xigbar did mean quite a lot to him; He was his best friend, pseudo-uncle-older-brother figure, a mentor, and perhaps even a friendly rival. To Demyx, as lame and as corny as it sounds, no one can replace the older Nobody. He taught him plenty of things that he can never repay on top of that. If he were anymore sentimental, he might have even gone as far as to call him 'family'. Whether Xigbar knew it or not, Demyx is forever grateful for his precense. And even when Xigbar disapepared for the second time? He still believes the old coot is still around somehow--Memories, thoughts, physical objects... Scars, even. And when things seem rough, all Demyx has to do is wonder what Xigbar would have done--and if that fails? Well...

Maybe there's a chance he'll see him again.

Red
Red is one of Demyx's oldest friends in Vatheon. Though he's a bit quieter than most of his friends, Demyx is perfectly content with sitting around and listening to any stories he might have about his own world. When Demyx was introcuded to pokemon for the first time, he thought they were the coolest things he's ever seen. And when he finally got one of his own? Red is one of the people he looks up to for advice. He trusts the trainer more than he can express, he just doesn't know how to show it yet.

Another person who catches his curiosity, N is still an enigma to him. Though he's kind, Demyx can't help but wonder about him. How is it he can talk to pokemon? What kind of world does he come from? Is it like Red's, or are there a ton of different pokemon? Without N, Demyx would probably be lost with his Eevee. Just what else can this guy teach? Only time can tell.
