I want to make shepard's pie for dinner, but we don't have any ground beef. Think it'll be ok if I use sausage instead?

I made it once before and it was awesome! But now I don't know if I want to make that or whip up some sweet home made biscuits and have sausage and gravy. What do I do??

Biscuits! Home-made, even! Daaaaaaaaamn. I haven't had biscuits in ages.
Either way sounds like a win. Hmm.
Maybe make the shepard's pie tonight and do biscuits and gravy for breakfast in the morn? Especially if you have a shit-ton of sausage.
I don't know though. These are both winning dinner options. :)
