If anyone inquires, I've taken quite an interest in the art of arcitecture. It's ever so interesting to see the layouts of buildings and the subtle nuances one can find in the front doorway of the school...rather intriguing, I most definitely have to say ( Read more... )

Is it? I do enjoy other subjects from time to time -- now that school has started and my classes are going at a snail's pace, I have free time to devote to other more recreational studies.

A subject that involves pragmatics and cost combined with the aesthetic qualities of something so simple as a line or a curve...it actually is quite intriguing.

And has nothing to do with the missing vents, I assume.

Architecture is a mix of form and function, and the various architecture schools lean towards one or the other.

What exactly would architecture have to do with air ventilation beyond finding space and room? That's a contractor's position.

I prefer function, but if form can be carried out in a way which is still functional, it can truly be considered an art.
