I think that this an awsome passage, and as long as you didn't use the "Oh what light.." speech from R&J, I don't think you should feel cliche using it. YOU ROCK MAN!!!

i agree...R&J can be cliche when presented as pop culture. as a work itself its as good as all his other works.

of course, some of the best presentations of R&J are all pop-culture...particularly Romeo and Juliet the Musical: The People vs. Friar Lawrence, the man that killed Romeo and Juliet. Hillarious!
