So... I have a strange dilemma. Not one you would expect from a teenager. I don't know what to ask for for Hannukah and Christmas. My relatives are all clamoring for my list and I have no idea what I want. I could always ask for money, but I've done that and I would rather know what I would like and get it instead of unwrapping lots of checks ( Read more... )

You're going to college next year yes? Well then I would say ask for Dorm stuff. You're going to need your own towels, possibly sheets, I recomment hanging closet organizers (life savers, and space savers for the dorm room, believe me).
If you're thinking about coming back to Faire this year (which would rock) you could ask for books about the group you want to be a part of. If you're sticking with Fantasticals I highly, HIGHLY recommend Brian Fraud's "Good Fairie, Badde Faire" book. The pictures are inspiring and he really brings his fairies to life.

Oh, and you know what, it's okay to be a little greedy now and then. Your family wants to give you stuff, and you are a very sweet nice honest girl, who deserves to get things that you want. So let them spoil you a little. While some people don't like to admit it, that is part of this holiday season.

Yesyes, coming back to Faire next year, staying with the Fantastickals for at least one more year. I asked for "Good Fairies, Badde Fairies" last year for Christmas ;-)
I'll definitely start looking around for the dorm stuff. All the prices start to go up when the stores decide it's "Dorm Stuff Season" <--really articulate title, so getting a head start is a brilliant idea. As they say in Paris, gracias! (Or perhaps I meant Paris, Texas. No, because that would be some obscure southern saying that I am not aware of. I'll stick with what I said, then).
Happy Holidays! If you're ever in the Chicago area, we should do something fun together.
