What a nice way to start the year...
This was by far the best viewing yet of TTT. The theatre was nearly empty & there was hardly any laughter during Gollum's scenes. I also think that having not seen it for over a week, I was able to just go in and watch it for what it was and not just look for the parts that didn't fit the book or fit to my pre-conceived notions of how it all should be. I relaxed and it was wonderful. Cried like a baby, of course. Especially over everything that reminded me of Boromir. I still expect to be able to re-read the books or see the movies again & somehow, magically, it's all changed and he's alive. Ah, but to dream....
I still worry, though, about how in the world the next movie can possibly contain everything that was still not covered from TTT and include all that is so vital from ROTK. *prays to God that the third movie will be a minimum of 5 hours or be in 2 parts*
