i have had lead dreams lately,
dense, heavey.
living lifetimes asleep.
waking up, soaked in time.
my body, dripping in moments left unspent.
drip, drop.
drip, drop.

echoing like footsteps.
mocking the beat of time.
wasting away what never came back.

time trickles down the walls that surround me,
as if it were a liquid.
flowing ever so slowly.
like a glacier, it picks up the broken peices, and continues...
