Just now I was standing at the trash can--which is currently in overflow mode--and peeling an oversized grapefruit.  I wasn't thinking about much, just trying to remember the most efficient way of getting most of the bitter stuff off (I start at the butt and then use the top strands to remove the leftover junk).  And as I was peeling, maybe halfway
