Don't lose sleep over that. Really that secret place is ... well I wont get into it. But really, nothing should be off-limits. Yeah WW2 was scary and horrible and we should always remember with reverence that people died, but APH isn't about that, it's about nations and it just so happens to take place during that time in history. The focus isn't the war or laughing and making fun of it, it's about nation interactions. How these spirit like representations deal with what is going on with what is happening and how they deal with each other

I tend to use any excuse available to stay up as late as possible, and being pissed off by fandom secrets has always been a pretty effective reason. It wasn't so much that the secret angered me, because they can think whatever they want to think about APH, it's a work of fiction and we totally understand where it's coming from, even if they don't. It's nothing to do with me, whether they're homophobic or whether they think APH is taking war too lightly.

What pissed me off was the attitude of the people in the comments, and their criticism against a Japanese man creating a comic about history. They're so biased towards the very thing they were angry about - lack of respect for loss of life, saying things like "They don't deserve any sympathy," even after Hiroshima and Nagasaki are brought up. They think we're hypocritical? Honestly

So, you probably don't know me too well, yet, but I was poking around other nation-tan's journals, found this and...yeah.

I pretty much decided that the main perpetrator (childings? Something like that), wasn't really worth anyone's time. This is the second time he's started a mindless wank in as many tries, and his judgmental attitude and blatant disregard for anyone else's opinion is just eye-roll inducing (yes, yes, we are all just ignorant fangulls in it for the pretty bois making out; God knows you can't get that kind of rare material anywhere else

Haha, thanks! Ranting can be fun sometimes. Good for the soul.

That seemed to be the overwhelming problem, there. Basically, the guys who were being the most insulting just seemed to really like putting people in groups and judging them all based on one specific perception. Not the best way to go about things, that's for sure.
