London riots spread like wildfire!

In all my years of living in London, this is by far the most shocking and unbelievable calamity that has befallen us. For those of you (lucky) people on the other side of the pond or other parts of the world will probably be unaware of the situation that currently has England in sheer agony and turmoil.

That's pretty intense and I'm ashamed to say that I'd had no idea that was going on--my head's been up in the clouds as my sister is in from out of town. Life pretty much stops when that happens.
I'm glad you arent in London anymore, but yeah, you MUST be worried for others you know. Are things better today? (I guess I could always check the news).
I think it is scary how easily things like this start. I don't know, in a way, I think it is a good lesson, especially for me, to always take a deep breath before deciding to follow the crowd, get my bearings and make sure the way I'm feeling is really correct. Although the media has painted most of the rioters as crooks and slime and all that, I wonder if there is someone in that mess who really wouldn't normally be in it at all, just sort of got lost in his passions. OK, I'm waxing weird. Stay safe!

Things are getting better now, but only because so much as happened thus far. Three Pakistani men were killed in Birmingham in a hit and run for protecting a Mosque, and another English man was killed in London during the riots. Seriously, I don't know how many more people have to die before someone puts a stop to this ( ... )

I seriously can't believe this is happening. D: And all because police fired ONE round at an innocent person... Why did they even shoot anyways? Talk about an unfortunate turn of events ( ... )

Well innocent at the time and place. The guy actually was a 'gangaster' you can find pics of him online.

I know, I'm so appalled that these kids have such (stupid) bravery and not even be scared of the consquences. I swear, I was such a good kid, I was the type not to even talk back to my parents and these kids are taking on the law!

I don't know what will happen to the country if these kids aren't sorted out. And chucking them into prison isn't going to end this trouble. Most of these youths don't even have good upbringing or a stable home so it's no wonder why they take to the streets.

The video I did see on youtube and I was so disgusted by it, I hope each one of those yobs is caught. Hope the poor boy is okay :(

My family are fine, thanks so much for asking. I just worry about the sister thats pregnant as it's hard enough worrying about her baby but now she's worried about driving through London.

Thanks for the reply Monica! X
