Oslo is breathtaking in spring. Trees in bloom, tiny birch leaves in green that boarders on neon, and the light is finally back. Every year, the transformation from bleak late winter to spring is a stunning surprise. I had a nearly religious Oslo experience a few days ago, which brought this on, at a breakfast lecture held by one of the big law

Happy Syttende Mai! I'm not Norwegian but my mom's parents were...so I grew up celebrating Norway Day.

That's amazing it's so hot there - I'm still waiting for summer to come to the UK. :(
